We went to a Redbirds game in Memphis last night. It was great game...they won! It has been awhile since I have been to a baseball game. I believe the last time was in Montgomery for the Biscuits.
Here's the highlight of the night.... A bat flew out of the hands of a batter and hit a teenage boy in the seats!!! It was wicked! The boy was just fine and left with an autographed bat and ball. I believe he also got to watch the rest of the game in the suites or something because the staff took him and his family somewhere after he got hit.
Now to the sweet ride...We rode down there in my friends brand new Ford Expedition that is FULLY loaded. It was pretty sweet. It even had seats that chilled your butt and back! How great is that on HOT day???
I'm still driving my old chevy truck though... If you have been reading the blog for awhile, you know that I am cheap and still drive the same truck I had when I graduated college. That's OK... I love it and it's paid off! That's one sweet ride when it is paid off! LOL
Well, I better get to work. I'm actually going to go out on the weather deck tonight. I bet I look like a wet cat after I'm done with the weathercast. It is SO muggy!!!

You were raised better than to buy a Ford! What good is a warm or cold booty when you're broke down? Or flipped over. Or when your Firestones blow out.
Chevys have taken you places dude! Where's the love? Yukons come loaded, too!
My truck says more than that when I start it Faye! That's why I need a new one! I doubt I'll have the butt coolers, but it sure would be nice!!!
