Pray For This Lady...

This morning we were at Walmart at the Customer Service desk. While we stood in line, a lady came up and asked if anyone had turned in some money. She had some things in her cart, a frantic look on her face, and a certain tone in her voice. You could tell that she really needed to find this money. The cashier said that nobody had turned in the money... and the lady walked away.

About 15 minutes later we saw the lady again. She was walking the aisles of the toy department and the Christmas department looking on the ground. She had tears in her eyes and was faintly saying something like "Oh no... Oh no" under her breath.

It was very sad. I'm not sure if this was all of her money for Christmas gifts or just some money for groceries... Either way, it is very sad. Since I saw her in the toy department, I assume that she was Christmas shopping for kids.

There's not much I can do now, but I wish I had done something then. We're on a tight budget (like most people, this time of the year), but maybe we could have done something. Even it were just handing her a $20 bill or something.

I hope God helps her find that money or puts her in a position to correct the situation in some way... I pray that we could come in contact with her again. I believe I can spare at least $20.

I don't know her name, but keep her in your prayers.

Have a great Monday,
Ryan

Sometimes I wonder if maybe that is a test instead of a person. I will pray for her, too.
Your prayer for her and the letting folks know of it might just reach the person who finds her Christmas toy money.
Love, Mom

What desperation. I will pray for her also. Holidays are stressful enough, but to loose your money....whether it be for groceries or gifts. Just a reminder to ALL women, never and I mean NEVER leave your purse in your buggy, even if you are standing there with your buggy. Someone lifted my wallet out of my purse one time while I was reading a label. Hopefully someone will read your blog and help this lady out. It could happen to any of us.

You hate to hear of any one that has lost money or any thing of that importance. We all need to pray for this lady, because if she was searching that much, she probably really was desperate(not that we all are loaded or anything). When we look back we all wish at sometime we would have done something to help someone. It is very kind of you to post this and I know that people will be praying for this lady because of you. I pray she will get her money back 10 fold.
