Warming Up...

Our average high in NE Arkansas for mid to late February is in the 50s. After seeing a lot of "below average" weather, a warming trend is on the way! The above image is the BUFKIT program in "overview" mode. Once again, the timeline goes from right to left.
The first thing to note is the "red line" trending up! That's the temperature line. If the GFS computer model verifies, we could see highs in the 60s for a good part of next week.
We've got some rain in the forecast, too. It looks like we'll see a round on Tuesday and Wednesday morning and another round by next weekend. The storm system next weekend could be a severe weather event. It's way too early to get too concerned about it, but we'll be watching for that possibility.
If it starts looking more likely, I'll be sure to blog about it and will like talk about the image below.
In the meantime, the Daytona 500 is tomorrow! I'm a big race fan, so I'm ready for that! Also, Vandy beat #1 Florida today in basketball! That was sweet too!
Take care,

Ryan
