The Mall...

I saw something interesting last night. The sign at Indian Mall says... "We're still here". Do any of you still shop there? I'm interested to see what it is like in the old mall, but I have been to busy to stop by there.

From what the newsroom folks tells me... The people at Indian Mall will not comment on their future. What are your thoughts? What do you think about the new mall and the old mall? Click "comments" to voice your opinions.

I love the new mall. I think Indian Mall is on its way out, for lack of patronage. I've been hearing rumors for years that a big medical group is going to turn the old mall into a pediatric clinic or children's hospital. Don't know if there's anything to it or not, though.

I've not been to the new mall, nor have I been to the old mall in a number of years. The Indian Mall would be better served as a hospital or clinic, as Diane mentioned. Hopefully that rumor is true and the building is put to better use...we can never have enough medical facilities, but there seems to be an overflow of shopping centers and retail stores and car lots around here these days.

If the Indian Mall is anything like the Montgomery Mall...well...get ready for some big ol' clearance sales! ;)

Have a great Friday!

I've seen this before: older brother feels left out due to the attention the new sibling is getting.

Dillard's has an outlet store in the Indian Mall and an employee told me that the mall's management is now targeting other outlets to lease space. Looks like we could have a outlet mall!

I heard that Dillard's has rented that space out for at least another 3 yrs. To be the new outlet Dillard's in this area. I have been to the old mall. Its like walking thru a ghost town. Parking is great!!!

Interesting comments... An outlet mall would not be bad I suppose.
