My three-year-old son went fishing for the first time today and caught a few whoppers! Well, they were not THAT big, but he sure was a proud little dude! His P'Sam (granddad) bought him a Spiderman fishing pole before we went out to the lake today. It was something my son had been looking forward to ALL WEEK. In fact, he has been looking forward to going fishing for a long time. The above picture is his first fish!

We were waiting to go fishing until P'Sam came into town. Today was the day. He ended up with 3 Bream and 1 Catfish..... in less than 30 minutes!!!
As you can see.... Both him and P'Sam were having a GREAT time!
My youngest son did not fish, but he got a kick out of seeing the fish that his brother caught!
The above picture is the catfish. It was probably the largest fish too! I think my son and I have new hobby that we can do together. I have always been a big fan of fishing (taught by P'Sam) and now my boys are starting to get old enough to get out in the Great Outdoors too!

We sure did have a blast today and we might even go back tomorrow!

Take care,

Awww, He looks so excited! There's nothing like a good day fishin', is there?

I had no idea that's how you're supposed to spell brim, I mean bream.

I love to fish, and my Dad and Mom took us fishing when we were smaller than your big boy! I still love to fish, and I have some priceless memories of fishing with Mom and Dad. Your boys will remember these times, trust me. :-)

Jenn, I knew how to spell bream, but we pronounce it brim, so what's the big deal either way? ;D
