Talladega Pictures...

I already posted the movie clip last night, but here are some pictures from the race. I didn't take a whole lot of pictures, but here's a little taste of Talladega:

By 8:00, there are already tens of thousands there! These are just the cars... The camping area is much larger!

Terry Rogers was the"cook" from the bunch. We had all kinds of great food on Saturday and Sunday. We also watched the truck race and qualifying on Saturday, but I left my camera at the hotel that day.

This is where we sat for the 500 on Sunday. These seats were not too bad... We could not see the backstretch, but we had a JumboTron in front of us to watch that area.

We didn't rush out of the Speedway... We stuck around to hear the points standing and to watch everyone freak out after Jr. was spun out on the last lap! There were some MAD folks! We also took some pictures before heading to the parking lot to eat!

We cooked after the race too... We didn't feel like jumping right into the traffic!

Here's a cool picture of all of the cars at the end of the day. Some are sitting in traffic, some are waiting for the traffic to clear (like us). There are a lot of stories to tell, but I'm heading to work. Gotta go...
