Tornadoes Near The Western White House
Apparently President Bush and Laura wanted to see a Tornado today in Crawford, TX. Instead of taking cover in their shelter during a tornado warning today, they sat in an armored vehicle! I don't think that was the safest place in the world, but I bet his staff knew exactly where the rotation was in the storm and they knew his safety was not in danger. President Bush just wanted to see a tornado... he must be a weather geek too! Click here to read the entire story from CNN.
That storm system will bring heavy rain to Region 8 tomorrow (or today, since it is 12:20 am)!
Have a safe weekend!

Well, I believe it was your mother that shared the link of your blog and I put it in my bloglines to check it out from time to time. I'm a weather buff and will enjoy reading. We've had rain here in Gallatin, TN off and on. It was heaviest last night. Looks like Chattanooga is getting hit pretty hard with rain today. Interesting story about Bush. You know a lot of time around Christmas or New Years we'll have a bad storm. Much of it was south of us this time. It was warm today (60's).Happy New Year to you and yours.
