Great Weekend...

We've had a great weekend at the Vaughan house... On Friday we went to see Charlotte's Web, played outside, and hung around inside and played Lincoln Logs. Saturday, we went to the park to do a little fishing and playing on the playground.

I love my days off! Don't get me wrong... I like my job too, but I love spending time with the family.

Right now, the rain is coming to an end. It was nice to wake up to the rain-water trickling down the downspouts. . . Especially when there is no lightning! If I am at home and I hear thunder, then there is a chance I have to go to work. Especially in the Springtime. Before you know it, we'll be in the middle of Severe Weather Season again. We're less than 3 months away from the April 2nd tornado outbreak anniversary.

Later today I am going to blog about the potential of Severe Weather later this week and the return of Winter that I think will come in about 8 days or so.... Stay tuned!

Glad to hear you had a great weekend with your children. You may love the line of work you are in, but the time you spend with those young ones now, is something you or your children will never forget. We all know you will be there when the severe weather hits region 8, so until then enjoy all time you can with your family.

The weekend really looked great there! Thanks for posting the pictures. We love to see pictures of all you guys. Looks like it was a fun guys day at the park. I think that most people who know you, know that you are very dedicated to your job, and very dedicated to your family as well. You are a very good father. We know that your family is blessed that you love and care for them so much. (we are blessed as well:) I pray for many more weekends just like this one for you and your family... It's been really rainey and foggy here. What's up with that?

Great words of wisdom from Andrew. You can never get these days back. If you spend time with them now they will want to spend time with you in the many years to come. Enjoy evey minute, they go by way to fast. Love to you all.
