New Boss!

We found out today who our new boss will be at KAIT. As some of you know, our current General Manager and VP, Ted Fortenberry, will be leaving on June 22nd to start a brand new Raycom television station from the ground up in Myrtle Beach, SC. Ted is the guy that does the "Consider This" segment a couple of times a week. I bet his "Consider This" segments will become more controversial as we get closer to his departure! We'll see!

Anywho, I am happy to announce our new boss is a "hometown guy", a former K8'er, and a graduate of The Arkansas State University. Tim Ingram will come to KAIT in a couple of weeks to be our new General Manager and VP. Tim started his career at KAIT years ago, then transferred to WAVE-TV in Louisville, and then to KLTV in Tyler, TX. He returns home to where he started next month.

Of course, I checked with my sources at KLTV to see what kind of guy he will be and the response I got from one weather guy was... He's "Freakin' Awesome"... I guess that is a good thing. The people here at KAIT that worked with him say he's a great guy too. What a relief!

Anywho, be on the lookout for a new face on the "Consider This" segments within the next month or so...

Have a great day...
Ryan

PS- That's not him in the picture! That's from a really funny movie... Office Space!

Maybe the new GM will not have a problem with you pointing when you say, "Nightbeat starts now."
Hopefully your new GM will not be so vocal on contoversial issues as Mr. Fortenberry. I think that some of his comments on Consider This have probably got him in a slight mess.

If it's the Tim Ingram originally from Rector, AR; then he has got to be a great guy. Yes I'm a Rector graduate as well, so we've got to stick together!!

Remind me to show you some of the commercials he's made for other stations at work Monday. They're pretty funny. Peace out, weatherman.
