Deep South Snow?

Isn't it upsetting when people that live farther South than us get snow!?!? Well, that might happen this weekend. Some data is suggesting several inches of snow through parts of Mississippi, Alabama, and Georgia! Look at the total snow accumulation expected from the NAM model in the above image.

I have added some cities to give you some perspective. Those are not necessarily the 3-letter airport IDs, I just added my own abbreviations!

To keep up with the latest on this storm in Dixie, check out my friends down at ABC 33/40 by clicking on their blog on the right side of this page.

I was going to behave as though I was quite miffed in regard to this snow situation for our neighbors to our southeast, but then I thought I would instead simply suggest that you whip us up a nice snowstorm for about Monday/Tuesday; that would make up for it, I suppose.

We CAN NOT have spring until we get at least one snow.We are going in a perfect pattern the next 10 days....surely we will get some snow !!! I'll keep my fingers crossed.

P.S- I hope C. Alabama and Georgia ends up with 10 inches. :-)

Good Afternoon Ryan,
"WELCOME BACK" from your road trip. Sorry to hear you got sick, but hopefully you won't get it anymore. I do hope the boys get to feeling better as well. I know around here when one of our girls gets sick, it has to make it's way thru everyone before it decides to leave. LOL. I'm glad you got the turn signals fixed on your van. Nashville traffic can be a pain in the rear sometimes. I have been thru there many times with my husband. He drives a big truck and goes all over. At one time, there was alot of construction going on there. Do they still make Snow? LOL. My husband just got in about an hour ago from Wisconsin. He called me this morning and told me he was bringing me some Snow. Now, talk about getting all excited. LOL. He said it was on his trailer and there was enough to make a Snowball. It was a dirty Snow tho, but who cares, LOL, as long as it's some Snow right? Well, lo and behold, when he got home, it was all melted. I was so disappointed. I seen where Atlanta got some snow the other day as well. I just don't think it's meant for us to get any snow this year. Guess I will have to move somewhere where it does snow. Take care my friend and have a great day. Stay warm. It was 19 degrees at one time this morning. Now that is cold. May God Bless You and Yours.
