Parents are going to be happy and kids are going to be mad, but a lot of places are not dropping to the freezing mark. There still may be some icy spots, but we have once again dodged the wintry weather for most of Region 8. It's weird. The NWS agrees and the Winter Weather Advisories from TN to MO to KY are being dropped.
I did encounter an iced over Goobertown Road earlier, so it's not safe everywhere.
Most areas are just wet, but I'm not complaining. Ice is not fun. I'm going back to bed...
