It's Pretty Much Over...

Here's the image I showed you last night on the news. The "swaths" were not too far off, but some the totals added up a little faster in some locations! It's funny, Jonesboro and Paragould ended up on the bottom end of the forecast and our northwestern areas went slightly above the forecast.

For those of you that got some snow, be happy. Jonesboro and Paragould only got a dusting (at best). Here are some of the snow totals that we have received:

  • Glencoe, Fulton County: 9"
  • Salem, Fulton County: 7-8"
  • Mountain Home, Baxter County: 6-7"
  • Ash Flat, Sharp County: 6"
  • Evening Shade, Sharp County: 6"
  • Mountain View, Stone County: 6"
  • Calico Rock, Izard County: 6"
  • Ravenden Springs, Randolph County: 4"
  • Batesville, Independence County: 2"
  • Pocahontas, Randolph County: 2"
  • College City, Lawrence County: 1.8"
  • Jonesboro, Craighead County: Dusting
  • Paragould, Greene County: Dusting

Have a great day,

Ryan

Ryan, for the forecast being so unpredictable, you nailed it. You said there would be some heavy snow bands, and there was. I think your forecast was alot closer than some other stations I watched.

NO ONE could have called the Russelville storm. They was calling for 1-3 there. LOL.

Great Job !
