1:20 PM Update

StormTRACK Doppler 8 is showing a strong storm coming into Carter County, MO. We're running a crawl at the bottom of the screen right now concerning this storm. Penny to Nickel size hail may fall from this storm, but there is virtually no threat of a tornado. The above image a 3D perspective. The XVision technology of StormTRACK Doppler 8 gives us this unique perspective.

Also, we are watching the warm air trying to move north. Parts of the state are warming quickly. We're already up to 64 in Little Rock and look at the 80 degree reading in Jackson! Whew!
On the wider scale, you can see that we are right on the edge of the warmer weather. As the low moves east and the warm front heads north, warmer air will move into Region 8. This will make the atmosphere more unstable.

Stay tuned for the latest information. The stronger storms are still scheduled to come in later this evening and through the overnight. Don't let your guard down yet...
