Child Search 101

I was driving the Wood Ford StormTRACKER home tonight with a coworker when a plea for all Greene County Rescue Squad Members was announced to report to Walgreen's ASAP. An 8-Year-Old boy was missing!

I dropped off my coworker, called my wife and told her I would be late, and went straight to Walgreen's. We actually setup next door at Leaning Tower, where the kid went missing. There were about 50 people out there.

We all broke up and started searching. Some walked, some had 4-wheelers, and some drove. Another guy and myself drove up and down the streets, into parking lots, to football fields, alleys, etc. We saw nothing.

After the boy was missing for 2 hours, he was finally found safe. There had apparently been a misunderstanding and his uncle had taken him home from the pizza place. Thanks goodness! Some might look at it as a waste of time, but the kid is safe and that's all that matters.

Have Good night. I'm going to sleep!

Thank God for misunderstnadings. Its pretty scary when a baby goes missing. My three year little girl got seperated from me Fathers Day weekend at Silver Dollar City. Thank God she was found safe and sound just a few minutes later!!!
