As I walked into the newsroom this afternoon, the news broke about Tim Russert. In my opinion, Tim is the best in the biz at Election coverage. He owned it. I know he worked at the competing newsroom to ABC, but I'll admit that I watched him on election night. Nobody at NBC can fill those shoes.... especially in an election year.I've always liked him professionally and as I hear about his personal life in the wake of his death, it seems he was a great friend, father, husband, colleague, and son too.
He was only 58 years old. Don't take you family and friends for granted. It only takes a few seconds to lose someone...
