There is a video that was emailed to every newsroom in the country a few years back and most of you saw it, too.
It's been on David Letterman, Talk Soup, and other entertainment shows as well. It's the "Boom Goes The Dynamite" sportscast.
Well, our "main man" Brian Collins landed a JOB!!!! He's now a news reporter at KXXV in Waco, TX. I'm going to assume that he is much better these days. Wait to go Brian for sticking with your dream!
Don't get me wrong, when I was in college I was just as bad! Maybe I'll YouTube one of those videos one day... we'll see.

I work in a technical support call center, and when we get new people who have never answered phones before in a call center, it's pretty funny to watch them stumble through the first few calls. Eventually everyone catches on, but it can be brutal to listen to the first half dozen. :)
Congrats to Brian. Hopefully he can do a little better this time. I'd be interested in seeing his aircheck tape in a couple months from his new gig!
awwww...i really feel bad for him! he looked so nervous! I think it would be the same for me if i ever had to be in front of the camera!! man i really feel for the fella.
That was painful to watch!!!
I just showed this to Rick and he made me play it twice because he was sure it had to have been buffering a few times during the first run. I am not kidding.
I would never have showed it to him without the rest of your blog entry there for him to see that the guy got a job afterall! :D
