Tough Forecast For Fay!

Rich Thomas from WSFA and I have been chatting about Tropical Storm Fay for a few days now. It's going to be a tough forecast! The NHC still has Fay going through Florida and desipating over land, but I'm thinking the ridge is going to make Fay do some wild things. For the past few runs of the GFS model, it has taken Fay through Florida... into the Atlantic... back across Florida and into the Gulf of Mexico!!! For those of you in Alabama, you need to watch Fay closely! At some point, there should be a western push of this system and Alabama will be affected in some capacity. Hopefully she does not go back into the Gulf.

For those of you that are some big time weather geeks, check this ensemble of model tracks. I'm getting a little concerned about this system. It will prove to be a tricky one!

Stay tuned!
Ryan
