Cool Down On Track

A few days ago I wrote about the cool down coming and the possibility of upper 40s. Well, it's still on track! The above image is the overview window of a program that we use called BUFKIT. Some of you have seen it before. I use it much more in the winter months. Anywho, I only plotted the temperature, dewpoint, CAPE, precip, and clouds on here. As you can see, the cool down is slated to come in on Tuesday according to much of the guidance, including the GFS (above data).

The time in the above graph goes from RIGHT to LEFT. Click the image to enlarge. In essence, there is a slight chance of rain on Tuesday and then the temperatures and dewpoints drop. I'm looking forward to it!

In other news, meteorologist Shane Carter is filling in this weekend. It's great to have Shane back, even if it is temporary. Shane is currently the Director of The Foundation at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center, but wants to keep his connection to the world of broadcast meteorology. We're very appreciative to have his help!

I'm off to sleep. Our church is kicking off a revival tomorrow! Come join us at East Side Baptist Church in Paragould. I'll try to post more information tomorrow.

Take care,
Ryan
