It's been hard to be chipper today. I was going to write along entry about the loss our family had one year ago today, but I changed my mind. There are some feelings, memories, and emotions that should just stay within the family. However, it is a good opportunity to remind everyone to not take time, health, or life for granted. God's plan is often different than ours, but in the end... it is so much better.

Well spoken Ryan! May God Bless you and your family during this sorrowful time. We lost my Grandpa 4 years ago on Sept. 12th and he and my Grandma raised me. Always remember that we just said goodbye for a short time!!

Blessings,

Robert Rowland

Thinking of you and your family, Ryan. We buried my Grams (Grandmother) today. She had a long, wonderful life, and was almost 92 years old. Even though I KNOW where she's at, it's still bittersweet.

God's plan is always different than ours. It seems to me that we often think we know how God is going to do something and when he does it we are often surprised about the way he does. I always marvel at how God gets things done.

I will be praying for you and your family. Losing a loved one is very hard. Just remember in the rough times to tie a knot and keep holding on, what's waiting for us on the other side is so worth the trails and tribulations we face here on Earth.

On another note, I love your blog. I attend ASU and love watching you and the rest of the Region 8 News Team (In Missouri we have the Heartland News Team, KFVS 12, KAIT's sister staion) You guys put together a great newscast. I hope someday I will get to be lucky enough to be a part of a news teams as great as the one at KAIT 8.
