Hang in There Voice...

There is one thing that is a "must" in our job and that is the ability to speak. I have worked with a stomach ache, a twisted ankle, a torn muscle or two, an earache, snotty nose, and even a sore throat. Usually, I can get through the day and through the weathercasts with any sickness. However, tonight I feel my voice going away!

I've been battling some type of upper-respiratory crud for the past couple of days. A little coughing, a little congestion, and even a sore throat has plagued me for the past 48 hours. Needless to say, I've been feeling pretty rough.

Tonight, I'm starting to feel much better... but my voice is slowly fading away. It's just Sarah and I this week (J-Lo is out of town), so if I lose my voice... I'll just have to do sign language to you on the news! Please pray for me. Seriously.

Ryan

Yessir, it's my privilege to pray for you. Keep up the good work, Ryan, and I'm praying your voice holds out and improves soon.

Do the hearing caption...or speak per prewritten script and let someone do the voice-over.
Kind of like lipsync which is done at SuperBowl, Inaugeration, etc.

I think Craig needs to get back in there and have another crack at the weather while you rest your voice. Come on, Ryan, you know that's good TV! ;)
