QB Training Camp

Last night I decided to go get some video of the Greene County Tech QB Training Camp. The camp started at 6:45 this morning, so it was a little before my typical wake up hour! I asked my oldest boy (who loves football) if he wanted to tag along. He immediately answered, "yes...yes". I told him that he would have to get up early and he once again said... "yeah, yeah, yeah".

So, when I got up this morning at 5:50 am, I went to go wake him up in his room. As I rounded the corner to the living room, he was standing there.... fully dressed.... wide awake... with a big smile on his face. He said, "I'm ready to go Dad!". I was shocked! I thought I was going to have to drag him out of bed...

Anyways, him and I do not get to spend as much time together as we did prior to his school days. We left a little early, grabbed some breakfast at McDonald's and went to watch some football. He had a blast watching the players. Near the end of the practice, Coach Conaway let him run a few routes around the cones to catch some passes. As a proud father, I think he did pretty good... and we had a good time.

Video of GCT's QB training will be on Region 8 News Sports tomorrow at 6:00 and 10:00.

Have a great night!
Ryan
