Radar Update, 8:55 PM


I'm starting to like what I see. The storms that are heading our way have greatly weakened! I'm not going to give the all clear yet, but a quieter night is looking much more likely for Region 8. NOW, farther to the SW into the Little Rock TV market, they have a couple of doozys right now. This storm passing north of Russellville has been putting down some hail and even had some quarter size hail earlier. It has since weakened a little.

In addition to the hail, it has also had a rotating wall cloud reported. If you look at the image below, there is some weak and broad rotation just west of Dover. That area would have tighten and strengthen before it became too threatening.
We'll continue watching the storms!
