Snow On Saturday?

Don't misunderstand me, I'm concerned about the threat for severe weather tonight, but we also have to watch out for some snow on Saturday.

Some data has shown this for a few days, but now almost everything points to "some" accumulation. Todd Yakoubian from KATV called me on Monday about this system. He made a long term prediction and said "snow for someone in ARkansas". I'm not sure if he went to air with that, but it appears his gutsy call looks even more likely now.

I know I still have some Alabama folks that read this blog... Take a look at how much snow you could see!!! (click image to enlarge) That shows 2.5" of snow in Prattville! That's just a model and not a forecast, but it shows you the potential! I'm sure Rico will be talking about it on WSFA tonight!

Anywho, we'll be tracking storms tonight, but keep an eye on Saturday!

That much snow in Alabama would be awesome!!!!! Yeah, Allyson had it in the forecast that there "might" be a chance for snow on Sunday, anywhere from a trace to 1/2 inch, they are being really careful with the "s" word, you know how us Alabama people get when we hear the word snow, lol!
