WindCAST?

So, I have a question. Is the WindCAST useful in my weathercast? I'm not going to tell you if I like it or not.... I just want your opinion. Click on the comments and let them fly. I look at viewers as "customers" and I want to know what the customer wants. That's a concept I got from a great weather guy in Nashville, Bill Hall.

FYI-WindCAST projects the winds across Region 8 using our in-house computer model. It projects the winds speed and direction over the next 48 hours.

If you just want to vote, there is a poll on the right side of the page!

It's good to know about the wind this time of year when sowing seeds or applying fertilizer.

Mowers love it! Tells them if they will or will not be eating grass as they labor!

Rick got pretty wound up about it the first time he saw it. Lol.

Cyclists love it, too. Tells us which route we should ride to take advantage of tail winds!

Wind is important to fishermen and hunters. It makes a hard day trying to keep your boat positioned right in a twenty m.p.h.wind,also a deer hunter needs to know the wind direction to plan on what tree stand to hunt in the next day.It is best to face the wind while hunting deer.

It gets windy outside. So what? I just want to know if it's going to rain or not. Unless the wind is going to blow down my house I don't care about the windcast.

Im going to state a fact that no one else has. The wind cast helps me decide whether to wear a dress or skirt versus pants, and also what to do with the hair. I know that is less significant than that of farmers and whatnot, but I like it. Also, my eyes dry out really bad when its windy, which causes my contacts to flop out of my eyes, so when you say its going to be super windy, I wear my glasses! :)
