Outflow Boundary

Do you see the line of light green pushing out ahead of the strong storms? That's the outflow boundary. Imagine the winds blowing out from the storm as it moves. It's blowing dirt, bugs, etc out ahead of it and that "stuff" shows up on radar. Cool huh?

We just got socked with some VERY heavy rain in Raandolph County. I bet some storm totals for the 24 hour period in C and N Randolph County will be around 7-8 inches......btw A Ton of lightning with these storms !
