Stormy Tuesday

We know that it's going to rain today (Tuesday) and we know there will be thunder and lightning. There are still some questions on how strong the storms will be across the state. The above image is showing the instability according to the GFS model. Notice, the highest CAPE stays south, with CAPE nearing 500 in parts of Region 8. If this played out, we would see rain , but not much severe weather. Another model shows more instability. See:
Do you see the yellows moving more north? This would yield some stronger storms. I would write more, but I'm tired and I'm falling asleep.

We're going to watch the closely, but in the meantime. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz

Let's just hope that all we get is rain. I don't like the Severe Weather, but knows that it happens from time to time. Anyway, "THANK YOU" Ryan and the Region 8 Storm Team for always keeping us informed of any kind of weather. Don't know what I would do without you guys. Have a great day and a rainy Tuesday does make for some good sleeping weather.

I understand that most people are scared half to death of thunderstorms and I'm not interested in anybody getting hurt or property damage resulting from one.

However, that said, I've been looking forward to "thunderstorm season" all year!

Say what you like but I love thunderstorms and I hope we have a lot of big ones this year!

All year round but especially this time of year, no matter what the weather is, I'd rather it was a thunderstorm!!
