A Little Rough For Some...

Well, I had to go into work for a little bit tonight on my day off for the storms. We had some damage (pictures coming soon) and some hail. The above picture came from Scott Watson of Paragould. As you can see, The 'Gould got some penny size hail. We also had some homes damaged. Click here for all of the Storm Reports.

The farmers got a "little" bit of a break... Rainfall amounts stayed low. Here are some of the numbers:

Jonesboro 0.41"
Newport 0.31"
Blytheville 0.41"
Walnut Ridge 0.41"
Batesville 0.01"
Poplar Bluff 0.37"
Mountain Home 0.02"

Now the cold and windy air is rushing into Region 8! Take a look at these 2 hours temperatures drops:

Mountain Home 77° to 53°
Batesville 73° to 50°
Jonesboro 71° to 56°
Walnut Ridge 70° to 52°

I'm going to sleep now!

Why don't you start a little Poll as to when Region 8 will see its first snowfall of the 2006 season?

I say December 27th (but I have been wrong before)
