Nashville Trip...

I've got a few minutes to spare, so I thought I would post about our trip to Nashville. Most of our trips to Nashville are very rushed. This one was rushed too, but not as bad as most of the trips in the past. I still wish we could have seen more family and friends, but it never works out that way... If you are family, track us down next time or you have an open invitation to Arkansas!

We got to go to the "Vaughan" family gathering for Christmas for the first time in 5 years. We had a great time and I enjoyed laughing and making jokes with my crazy uncles. It was a nice reminder that my dad is not alone... they are all a little nuts! (It was good to see you too Aunt Glenda... I know you are a regular reader!)

We also got to spend some time with Jenn's family. This is the first Christmas since her (our) NeNe died. We hung out with her PawPaw a couple of times. He seems to be doing well, but you can feel that Christmas is much different than in the past.

We spent one night hanging out with Jenn's cousin and his girlfriend. We always have a great time with them. Jenn's cousin, Dustin, is one of my best friends. In fact, I consider him the little brother I never had... We went and terrorized IHOP (I can do that when nobody knows me) and played some Playstation when we went back to his house. It was just like the old days! He said he reads the blog now, so I am going to start petitioning him and his gal to move to Arkansas! (It was good to see you too Aunt Faye... I know you are reading too!)

More than anything though... I had a great time with my sister. We really had a lot of time to chat and hang out. I'm really fortunate to be so close with my sibling. Her and my brother-in-law are awesome! They bend-over backwards for our kids and really make us feel at home. We always stay at their house, when we are in town.

Anywho, there is a lot more to write, but I need to go eat and get to Church... I'm sorry that I did not post any pictures. We forgot to bring our camera... If any of my family members want to email me some picture... feel free. I'll post them on the blog.

Now we are home... My mother in law followed us home for Christmas. I guess she's not that bad! LOL I have a running joke of leaving her off of the blog. It's Christmas and I figured I should at least mention her in this post!

Merry Christmas,
Ryan
