Cheap Diapers

Ok... We buy a lot of the "Great Value" brand at the Vaughan house. I'm cool with that! I like saving money! However, I DO NOT like products that are lower quality. Let me explain... We usually grocery shop at Walmart. I don't want to, but they are easy and cheap. I wish that we had a Publix Grocery Store so bad!!! For all of you that do not have a Publix, here's their webite... click here.

Anywho, this week we shopped at Kroger. We LOVE Kroger too, but it is farther away. While I love Kroger, their cheap diapers are horrible! The cheap diapers at Walmart work just fine, but not the cheap diapers at Kroger. It's SO bad that we are going to throw them out and get new ones! We have had leaks, Code Brown Blowouts© , and torn tabs... It's not good!

The youngest is 2, so we are almost done with diapers... but, in the meantime I will be choosing my cheap diapers wisely.

Have a great day!

PS- Some people link to this blog as a "weather blog"...LOL For those of you wanting to hear about some weather... we may get some snow this week! WoOHoo... Stay tuned.

Code Brown Blowouts! That is just too funny! I know what you mean by leaky diapers! No fun!

I think Kroger has a guarantee on their brand that if you're not satisfied, they'll give you the name brand for free.

That is hilarious! This is Laugh Out Loud, not just LOL! I guess that's easy for me to say, though. I bet you found out which butt wipes were worth their weight in, ahem, gold, from this experience, right!?

As a father of 5 been there and done that. Wal-Mart diapers always worked for us and were pretty good at preventing those dreaded blowouts. I bet you will be glad when its all over, I know we were. Don't get me wrong I loved having a baby around the house but the youngest is 5 and in school and the oldest is in Basic Training in the Army.

I saw this and just had to post. We tried them. I think the Target brand is okay, but we stick to the Luv's. BTW, our youngest is approaching two, so maybe we won't be reaching into the 5's or 6's.
