View From Space

Click the above image to get a better look at this "Visible Satellite" shot from space showing the swath of snowfall that mainly occurred north of us. I'm glad that we did not mention much accumulation across Region 8, because there was very little. I had some flakes at my house, but it added up to nothing. Some places in our northern areas got a little dusting. It's way too early to get a good snowfall anyways! It's not even winter!

Anywho, back to the image.... The satellite image is like a "snapshot" from space. There are clear skies overhead, so the the "white" to our north is snowfall. The white to the SE is cloud cover. Cool image, huh?

A few snow flakes fell over Corning about 3am, so i`m told...was nothing visable this morning.
