Forecast Still On Track

It still appears that a wintry mix is going to move in later tonight. I have chatted with both NWS offices in Memphis and Little Rock, and both offices plan on issuing Winter Weather Advisories for tonight. This should cover a good chunk of our area. I think our southern counties may stay all rain, but that is still up for debate. The above image is StormCAST at 1:00 AM tonight.

It still appears to be a "light" event, but roads will still be slick in some areas tomorrow morning. It's too early to make any predictions about school closings, but it would not surprise me to see some closings.

Have a great day,
Ryan

This "little" frezzing rain/sleet will make the roads alot worse than snow. Even if it's a small amount I wouldn't be shocked to see alot of schools let out too.

By the way....did I do pretty good on my Kait8 voting guesses ?

Good Afternoon Ryan,
BRING IT ON!!!! LOL. If we can't get Snow, might as well take a little ICE huh? Just nothing too serious tho. Maybe just enough to coat the grassy areas and the trees. Just so I can take a picture and tell everyone that we did have some Wintry precip. LOL. I have alot of blogging friend that live in AL, GA, and the Carolina's that got some Snow last week. They shared their pictures with me and I was so jealous. Take care my friend and have a great night.

P.S. Could you give me an email address to send you a picture in case we do get something here? I would appreciate it very much.

I wasn't sure what happened to you but hubby said he knew you were in Arkansas. I hope things are going well for you. I have a blog on blogger called www.gracioussouthernliving.blogspot.com.
