3:00 Update

Well, all of Region 8 is under a Tornado Watch. We have yet to see the storms "really" fire, but I don't think we are safe just yet.

This is not the time to panic (like many people are doing), it is a time to prepare in case something happens. If it doesn't happen, we all win. There are some severe storms in the state that are heading in our direction.

As we said last night, this evening would be the greatest threat. Stay tuned.

Stay tuned,

Ryan

The Memphis City School's let out right after noon today. They made the right call. A tornado touched down where student's would have been in the Hickory Hill area. Memphis has been hit with various tornado's.

Good Evening Ryan,
Let me commend you, Chris, and Sarah, for a very well done job this afternoon and tonight. It was a warm day here in Caraway today. It got up to 72 degrees. It was a very warm and sticky day. The School let out at it's normal time today, but they did not have the After School Tutoring that they usually do because of the Severe Weather threat. The KAIT8 Storm Team did a remarkable job and I am proud to say that Region 8 is a great place to live. My thoughts and prayers are with the ones to our West that have lost everything and lives as well. It is just devastating to see something like that happen. I always turn to KAIT8 for my weather. But I just wanted to let you 3 know how proud I am of yall and what a wonderful job yall did in covering the Severe Weather. We got some rain and lighting and thunder here in Caraway tonight around 8:30p.m. We never lost power or anything. Take care my friend and have a great evening. Go home and get some much needed rest. May God Bless You and Yours.
