EF 4 Tornado

This video was given to KAIT from Chris Williams in Izard County. This was the EF4 tornado as it was exiting Stone County and entering Izard County. This video may not be shown or used without the permission of Chris Williams.

It was dark when the storm moved through, but lightning clearly shows the monster as it moved through Region 8. The damage in Mtn. View has been rated EF4. The damage in Zion and Highland and areas in-between have been rated EF3.

Tornadoes at night are so dangerous. I want to take this moment to ask all of you to get a NOAA Weather radio! We'll chat more later. I'm off to go eat dinner.

That was a monster. I don't see how it wasn't rated an EF-5.

I was gonna chase a little before dark, but once it was dark 4-GET-IT!

Good Evening Ryan,
I must say that is a very big and scary Tornado there. I do have a question. When they upgraded the Tornado Scale, wasn't it suppose to go up to an E6? I was thinking I heard that somewhere. I was thinking that because of the Greensburg, KS Tornado last year. I am just in awe at how the people of Region 8 has come out and done a great job with donations and supplies for the devastated areas. I am so glad to be a part of Region 8 and so glad I can TRUST KAIT8 for Severe Weather and other Breaking News. Keep up the great work everyone at KAIT8. Take care my friend and have a great evening/weekend. May God Bless You and Yours.
