Flooding Websites
This flood is going to be historical across Region 8. I have already seen some areas flooded that have not been flooded in years. To access the latest river levels you can click here.
More on the wx tomorrow, Ryan

I just wanted to say that you done a GREAT job covering the Severe Weather tuesday afternoon and evening! I watched you all afternoon in HD!!! God Bless!
I live in Windsor Landing (North of Jonesboro) and ever since it flooded in September (not in a flood zone) I watch Bridger Creek closely. At noon, it appeared to be in its banks but there is evidence of flooding that occured early this morning. It came within 2 feet of our front door and covered our entire driveway, sidewalk, and front porch. Luckily, no water inside this time but that creek still makes me nervous.
We are in Marion, Il. We're supposed to come home Thursday afternoon. Will we be able to make it across the Mississippi at Cairo and on down to Bay? We're trusting your word....please advise
Oh, I wouldn't worry to much about somebody getting their panties in a wad. I read her blog, seems you just didn't give her the attention she wanted. If she is going to blast someone she should be blasting her city officials for their tornado warnings not working.I read a little farther down....I don't give too much credibility to anyone that considers a dog a grandchild.

AS of now, it does appear that you will be able to cross the Mississippi just fine. Be safe!
