Friday Snow Update

The 18Z run of the NAM still paints a nice little swath of snow across the state. After seeing the foot of snow fall in Russellville, AR this week, we want to pay very close attention to this storm! LOL

I'm going to be "on the outside looking in" for a couple of days. It looks like I may have a doozy of a time returning to Region 8, too! If you remember, I'm at a radio conference with Trey Stafford. Trey is the main presenter, but Jim Cantore (Weather Channel) and myself are assisting. Of course, Jim has more of a presence than me! LOL

Anywho, the National Weather Service said some strong words in their Winter Storm Watch today! Did anyone catch them mention "a foot of snow"? I sure did! After seeing what happened earlier this week... I would not be surprised to see some isolated areas get dumped on! We'll watch and see. I'll try to post some updates from time to time on the blog. Keep it tuned to meteorologist Sarah Tipton for the latest on this storm on air!

Take care,
Ryan

Tell Trey the Computer Guys from Cavenaugh said Hi. I bet you and Trey are a foot taller than Jim. He looks like he's 6 foot tall on tv but, I bet he's not an inch over 5 foot 4. He's still the man in the weather world. (Behind you of course Ryan) LOL

Have Jim tell you guys all about the Autumn Glory Festival; he was the Grand Marshal last year, and that happens to be held in the county where I grew up. It was rated the #1 Fall Festival in the world by MSN.com! :D

And then you guys can check out Earl Barker's page and marvel at how close we are to the 18-20" mark on a few of those graphics. There; the rest of your evening is all planned!

I'll even make it easier for you. Here's 18Z Saturday's Accum. snow (NAM). Click my name! :D
