Little Rock NWS Had A Close Call!

This is the closest I have ever seen a tornado come to a Doppler radar site. A NWS employee said that it may have only been 50 to 100 yards from the office! Remember, winds coming toward the radar are green and winds coming away from the radar are red.

I'm going to continue tracking the storms for a few more hours... Right now, there are a couple of severe thunderstorm warnings for Region 8, but the tornado threat is gone.

Take care,
Ryan

O...Kaaaaay, now that things have settled down a bit, I have a question.
Do Tornado`s form and touch down thru fog?
Super Reporting last night as always, and as always you had much company even if invisable to the eye.........

We're not the NWS, so no bodily fluids involved...

As far as the fog goes, we had some fog along the warm front, but the tornadic storms were well south of the front.

The storms that came out of Little Rock weakened as they moved this direction, due to the more stable air in place.
