New StormTRACKER!

We officially launched the new Wood Ford StormTRACKER today! If you watched the 6:00 News, you saw it for yourself. It's brighter with better graphics, better lights, and better technology.
I am most impressed with the work that Paragould Communications did to the rig. LED lights light up the truck, including some "alley" lights that will be really helpful when we pull up to damaged property. If you have never been around some heavy storm damage at night, it is REALLY dark. These lights will help the victims and the rescuers see. We also have a 2-Way Radio system that will keep a constant flow of communication between the Wood Ford StormTRACKER and the Storm Center.

We've already taken it to a couple of summer program, including "Kid's College" at Black River Technical College. I showed off the new StormTRACKER today and made some clouds, too! See pictures below...
Have a great night!

Clay, I believe that could tow the TIV used by the Discovery Channel show, "Storm Chasers" LOL!

Got to see it at the baseball park in Paragould last week, looks sharp! We made a couple of circles around it so if there were smudges on the windows, we're the ones that left them.

Looking good! I wish I could afford a big ol lightbar like that. (I will get one with takedowns and alleys soon)

Fancy Schmancy! What kind of 2 way radios are you guys using? Business band? Are any of you licensed HAM's?

I really love the new KAIT8 Storm Tracker. I know yall are really proud of it as well. Sure would like to invite you to bring it to the Caraway 4th of July Festivities this Friday. We have a parade that starts at 9:00a.m. Everyone that is on the parade will be lining up at the School around 8:00a.m. on the 4th. It would be nice to see the new Storm Tracker in the parade. After the parade, you could sit it somewhere so everyone could get a good look at it. Just thought I would give yall an invite for the 4th. Take care and have a great evening.

Ben... no HAM in this one, just business bands. I'm going to get my Tech license soon, but as of now... none of us have a license.
