Christmas Music

Carol of the Bells has always been my favorite Christmas Song, but it may be #2 now. Have you heard the song "Christmas Bells" by Casting Crowns?

My wife and I went to their concert last week and their lead singer, Mark Hall, talked about the origin of the song. It was based off the poem "Christmas Bells", by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow. Longfellow wrote the poem on Christmas Day in 1864 during the Cival War. He had just found out that his son had been injured in the war and he had also recently lost his wife. Needless to say, there was not much peace in his life. With that said, he had peace with Jesus. Enjoy the song for Casting Crowns...
Luke 2:14

Merry Christmas,
Ryan

This, too, is my new favorite. Truly speaks to my soul and just blesses me every time I hear it!

Merry Christmas, Ryan, to you, Jenn and the boys.

I was at the concert and it was the first time I had ever heard that song. It was awesome. Our pastor preached on this very thing at church yesterday... Peace with Jesus. Thanks for sharing this with us. Merry Christmas to you and your family.
