Happy Fourth of July everyone! I hope you have great things planned for this day of food, family, friends, and fun. While many of us think of today as the day to fire up the grills and watch fireworks light up the sky, it IS the day we became independent! That's why it is called "Independence Day"... makes sense, huh?
Anywho, if you do not have plans today, here are some suggestions. Click any of the events for more information:
Prattville: Parade at 9:00 am Downtown to Stanley Jensen, then BBQ all day at Pratt Park with games, music, car show, and much more! Fireworks start at dark!
Wetumpka: Fun all day, fireworks at 9:00 pm at Gold Star Park
Lake Martin: Boat Parade at 10:00 am, concert at 6:00 pm, fireworks at 9:00 pm all at Kowaliga Marina.
Montgomery: All day events, baseball, and fireworks!
