You know that the storm is getting bad when Jim Cantore goes live with the goggles on! I must admit that I am like everyone else, I watch these crazy folks report live from the middle of major hurricanes. It's not the safest thing in the world... Jeff Morrow learned this first hand as some debris almost hit him in the middle of the storm! (below)
The funniest report came from Al Roker. First, he showed us that someone was actually showing his legs to keep him in place. He joked that he wished he had his weight back!
The guy holding Roker's legs let go of him and down he goes!!!
After he fell, he crawled back inside and the rest of the of his weather segments were done inside! I wish more people would realize that you can cover a hurricane while reporting indoors! I would LOVE to be there, but what is wrong with pointing the camera out a window? Just wondering...
