Not only has Wilma gone from a Tropical Storm to a CAT 5 hurricane in 24 hours, but she is the most intense hurricane EVER! She is just another hurricane this year that has been added to the some of the strongest ever. Keep in mind that the lower the pressure, the stronger the storm. Here's a list of the top storms:
The storm titled "Florida Keys" was a storm back in 1935. In 1935, they did not have names yet. I am still in shock at Wilma's strength! More on the blog later today...Ryan
