Talladega Pictures

As some of you know, I went to Talladega this past weekend. As always, we had a great time! I'm already geared up for next year!

Here are a few of pictures that one of the guys took... These first two are right at the start of the race. The cars are still being led around the track by the pace car. Michael Waltrip and the rest of the Toyota bunch had some fast cars this weekend. If they had not been in a wreck, they would have all been Top 10. If you notice, Michael Waltrip was on the pole...

Here's a shot of Dale Junior leaving the pits. He was fast, but the Childress motors were blowing up faster than cheap bubblegum in a bubble blowing contest...
The Ricky Bobby car from Talladega Nights was donated to the museum this weekend....
Jeff Gordon had a smart (yet boring) plan to win the race... He stayed back in the 30+ position until everyone else wrecked... He won, so I guess he's smart!
If you have always wanted to go to Talladega, but have always thought it was too wild... I have good news for you. It's not as bad as it used to be....

Take care,
Ryan

Well I was hoping Denny Hamlin would take it home considering he led so many laps. But Congratulations to Jeff Gordan. Hamlin didnt do to bad (4th).

I was in Birmingham Tower. I think we were alittle further down from where you were sitting (according to your pictures)

There are alot of bad ones out there Ryan. I won't give you my list "it would be too long", but I will give props to a couple of good ones in Jonesboro where I take my family often, and always had great service. They are Colton's, and Lazzari's

That was the best race we've seen this year ... okay, we only get K-8 & PBS at my house, so we didn't see any at all until the chase began. But it was fun to watch! - Nice going with your score of 93 this week on the Race Day Challenge, Ryan! :D

Well, I certainly hope you protected yourself from all of those nasty redneck diseases running rampant in NASCAR fans.
