Midnight Update

Well, I had some freezing drizzle on my way home tonight. There was not much too it, but it does appear that freezing rain is starting to increase across Region 8 as the warmer air overrides the cold air. You'll want to continue to check this map in case we start seeing some slick spots on the roads.

I have no doubt that we will be cold enough to see some problems, BUT there is not a ton of moisture right now. Let's hope that continues! I am still trying to wishcast the ice away! It may work...

Take care,
Ryan

Good Morning Ryan,
It is 27 degrees here in Caraway with a windchill of 14 degrees. We got a very light coating of freezing rain overnight. The roads here are in good shape. No School closing here this morning. You can see the power lines with a coating on them and the trees as well as the vehicles. Ryan, I know I probably shouldn't be asking this, but please pray for my husband and his uncle as they travel home today. They will be coming from Kansas City, MO, down to Springfield, MO, and over to West Plains, MO, and thru Hardy and Hwy. 63 coming home. I would so appreciate it if you would pray for them. Take care my friend and have a great day. May God Bless You and Yours.
