Do you remember when I talked about the reasons to blog about the Spica Cast? If not, go back and read THIS POST from last November.
I mentioned that I thought it would be awesome IF another "Spica" parent found my blog through a Google search. I wanted an opportunity to share our ideas and to encourage other parents through their crisis.
Well, a couple of weeks ago, a fellow blogger from Houston contacted me via email! Her son is in the same position my little boy was in a few weeks back and she needed some advice. Since then, we have emailed each other back and forth to share stories. To this day, we continue to pray for her little boy and their family as they go through this event in their life. Cool huh?

In other news... The Foundation Gala tonight was awesome! I wanted to win the bid on a John Deere mower at the silent auction, BUT I think Dr. Schecter out-bid me!!! The irony of this blog post is... Dr. Schecter was the doctor that handled both of the broken bones of my boys! By the way, he is an awesome doctor! If you ever need orthopedic work, come visit him at Arkansas Methodist Medical Center. He gets a HIGH rating from our family!
Anywho, I better get to sleep! No storms tonight!

We are halfway through - I hope! We celebrated making it 4 weeks with the spica cast this weekend and if all goes well, just another 4 to go.
It's spring break for most of Houston this week so hopefully we'll have lots of sunshine so we can get out and play a bit!
Thanks so much for all your help - you have been a lot of encouragement to us.
