Dolly Is Impressive!

Even though Dolly has moved inland the "eye" is still well defined and it continues to stomp all over South Texas here at 9:45 PM.
The winds also look impressive. There is still a broad area of winds at 55+ from Brownsville to Edinburg, TX... But the most impressive thing is the RAIN!
Radar estimates that over 20" of rain has fallen in parts of South TX! That's wild and dangerous. Hopefully the folks down there took the right precautions.

Take care,
Ryan

We've also been noticing/marveling at how Dolly has maintained a well defined eye this far inland. Base velocity and SRV has been very cool to see, too. This is the first good view of a hurricane I've had with GRLevel3. That rain is bad news, though!
