More On Fay...

Some data is coming in right now (00Z GFS) and it continues to show Fay in the Gulf of Mexico later this week. Keep in mind, this will be after she crosses Florida, sits for a couple of days, and heads back into the GOM. The above image is the data for Sunday.

Stay tuned,
Ryan

She is holding together very good even though she is over land.

I can't believe these temps we have been having this month. What has been the avg. high so far 84 ? What was it last year 98 ?

Why do you only look at the GFS? Aren't there other models to look at?

There are... For longer range forecasting I use the GFS and the European model. I've even used the Japanese for wintry forecasting. The GFS is the best to show visually for the blog really. There are not many sites that offer images of the Euro that are not paid sites. I'm not sure about the rules of showing those images. Good question though!

Where can I look to see past years hurricane info? We are going on a cruise at the end of September and I would like to know if we are at high risk of a hurricane happening.
